Italy offers exciting skiing getaways for skiers of every skill level – you can take on a challenging, Olympic-level descent or hop onto a beginner hill. The country also has excellent English-speaking instructors and there are often ski schools for kids.
If skiing is just not your thing, many alpine resorts also have cross-country and snow-shoeing trails, sledding hills, and ice skating rinks.
